The Startup Southerner team loves to get honest insights from seasoned entrepreneurs, and one of the ways we are able to capture some of the advice is by attending community gatherings that are most often free for the public.
Nashcocktail, a monthly networking evening presented by TechnologyAdvice, started the new year with a slightly new format. In addition to the usual mix-and-mingle, a short panel on entrepreneurship became part of the evening’s mix. We took a quick snapshot of the lessons we learned in that brief but valuable segment:
Their next Nashcocktail is on February 16.
After attending the first ever Verge Nashville in late 2016, we made sure to head over to WELD for their first 2017 event. The Verge concept is actually from Indiana, but the mission remains the same here in the Music City: to bring together founders, thought leaders, investors, developers, employees and anyone who has an interest seeing Nashville’s entrepreneurial ecosystem grow.
We made sure to take some notes from the evening and posted them on Startup Southerner’s Instagram:
Verge Nashville‘s next event is in April, so we hope to see you there.
And if your organization is interested in a sketchnote from your next gathering, give us a shout at hello [at] startupsoutherner [dot] com.
